Wasn't TorqueX supposed to be released today in conjunction with XNA?

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the Garage today. It'd be fun to see a great team in action during an impending release.

Will the initial release have any 3D? Or is it just TGB?

The initial release is supposedly just TGB features.

Hopefully we'll get 3D soon in TorqueX.

I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of TGB games. It sucks to see a new puzzle game every other day in the snapshots. I'm not saying TGB is bad, it is a great tool. I'm just sick of puzzle games. Hopefully we'll get 3D soon in TorqueX.

You're making a mistake about the games made with TGB : the first ones to be released are the puzzle games, but it don't mean that other genres of games are not currently being made ;)
In fact, it would really be a waste to just do puzzle games with such a powerful tool.

I actually prefer to see puzzle games get completed than "more interesting" large projects getting stalled and canceled. I like it when indies not only create games but finish them and get them polished to a publishing point.

I know I know. I'm just saying that is all that seems to come out with TGB. I'm sure someone is cooking something up around here.
@David
I agree with you, better to finish the puzzle game than nothing at all. I was just saying that puzzle games this day in age are a dime a dozen. Everyone wants to be the next Bejeweled. I wonder why Indies don't team up a little more, the lone wolf mentality maybe...

4:00 pm in New York, probably about 1 o'clock where they are. They probably all just got back from lunch. Curse time zones. I want my TorqueX!

Today or not today. That is the question.

That just makes me believe that they are still trying to get it out today.
I may be wrong though.

It's not like them to leave for the day when something is supposed to be released. If they don't make a date, they will usually blog it or something.That just makes me believe that they are still trying to get it out today.
I may be wrong though.

Still no update why are they taking there sweet time making any announcements? It's not that hard to say yes it will posted or it's not ready yet.
