Tge 1.5 Mirrors

Hi guys you might know me, ive got a problem (well not really) when i put a mirror in tge 1.5 its works except in first person mode i see the reflection of my gun only not my body , but in third person mode i see my body and my gun :S BUT! i see Kork from the mirror perfectly in both views please help.

Check your player datablock and compare it to Kork's. I can't recall right now, but it seems to me that there is a way to force the players visibility when toggling to first-person. I am at work and do not have the engine near me right now to check. I did a search and found the prefs for RenderMyPlayer, but that wasn't what I was thinking of. Maybe it was renderFirstPerson. Ugh. I'm sorry. I can't recall, but I'm thinking that these are close. I'll look it up when I get home.

If I remember correctly... In player.cs, if you set "renderFirstPerson" to True, then it should solve your problem. Give it a try.

Go to this page http://www.freewebs.com/saskafraska/screenshots.htm then go to mirror.jpg thats how it looks like with renderfirstperson True.

i dont think thats very good for the gun to not be in the players hands :)

Haha, yeah that doesn't look so hot. It looks to me as though the mount point on your rifle model is off... If it's not that, then the eye offsight to the rifle is probably set wrong. Just look in the ShapeBaseImageData of your weapon, and meddle with 'eyeOffset' to see if you can get it to change positions on the mirror.
