I have a project that I'm going to be putting together soon and I'm looking for a few good 3d model artists. They should be able to put out about 2-3 models like that a week. I need creature and character model artists.

In regards to your time requirements, I agree with Teck, you are pushing things pretty hard if you want to have both high quality work and that much quantity of work done. As such if you are dead serious about having that much of a deadline you should expect to pay heavily for it.

The Space Orc, which I am sure you are referring to, was done by Joe Maruschak and Weston Tracy. You can find both of their profiles here on the site. Some of the other objects and items in the scene were done by GG employees such as Tim Aste, Alex Swanson and probably many others whom I have neglected to mention. In regards to your time requirements, I agree with Teck, you are pushing things pretty hard if you want to have both high quality work and that much quantity of work done. And I can assure you that's an experience I never want to live through again, as it was a last minute thing and time was a factor.
Not to mention, Adam deGrandis did the rig and Mark McCoy did the mocap, so without their help it would of taken several more days.
Additionally, a lot of the guys who did the demo stuff, with the exception of Weston, are employed full time and may not be interested in outside work, but Weston specializes in it and his website is:

Oh and Adam is available too of course now that he is freelance, his website is http://www.gamesextract.com
Good luck. :)

I understand 2-3 high quality models a week is pushing the limits of most 3D modelers and am looking for only a select few that are gifted in this type of work for a project I will be funding out of my own pocket. Anyone else that fits this description or knows someone else that fits this description please feel free to post a link to your portfolio or make a post and I'll review your profile. Thanks!

How exactly does someone "do" mocap? does Mark own or have access to a motion capture studio or equipment?

Mark hooked up some existing mocap moves we had and did some tweaking to the hands and arms (so the sword was not going through the shoulder)
