Don't underestimate this video. It over simplifies the entire process but It gives a newbie an overall look of what it takes to make a game.

It shows several aspects:

1. Pre-production.
2. Project planning.
3. Asset Development.
4. Gui development.
5. Audio.
6. Coding.
7. Testing.
8. Marketing.

If you think about it, the overall concept is the same as movie production or business software development.

The main problem with this video is that they wrecked a perfectly good and informative video. The original video had some good commentary, and was basically an insider look at the creation of the reborn Prince of Persia. This video was just terrible. Animators creating levels? Programmers making menus? Bwahaha.

I posted it here for a joke. Knowing that is much more than just those few simple steps. Lord knows its a ton of work to make one of these games.

Oh yeah, I definitely recognised that as a joke post. I had actually seen this video a few days before, and had a good, though painful, laugh at it.
