Crashing when changing video settings

I have no idea what the problem is here, but it is consistant.
I have not had difficultly with Torque ever crashing before, but now it crashes when I try to apply new video settings.
I have been running it in 640x480 windowed while I have been working on it. I was showing some of my accomplishments to my brother but to better display it I switched to Fullscreen mode.
Now whenever I try to change it to windowed mode it crashes. WindowsXP pops up with its dialogue about how this program has made an error and needs to close. Every time I click "Apply."
I tried to just change its resolution but not change if it were windowed or not, and it crashed all the same.
The only thing I have changed to the game was adding Thomas Lund's Advanced Camera, a fix to keep objects from disapearing when the camera is far away from the world origin, and also the "player movement with a seperate camera object" (http://www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=5474)
But in all honesty, I don't see why that would be an issue, I'm not even using the camera yet. I'm just trying to change the settings from the main menu in the FPS starter kit, so nothing is being rendered but the GUI.
Don't know what the problem is, but it is disheartening to think that I would already have made a problem when I haven't even done anything yet.
