Game builder 3D limitations

Howdy. I'm interested in making a game visually similar to that of Paper Mario. Would that be possible with Torque Game Builder? The 3D background would be set, no manipulations of 3D moving objects. And the characters or whatever else would be 2D. I don't know if I could pull that off with TGB. What exactly are the limitations of 3D objects in TGB? Thanks.

You may want to use 3d planes as your 2d players, if i recall, there is some flipping and flopping in paper Mario when they turn.
