Wondering what kind of other content packs, textures, etc people are looking for nowadays for your projects?
We have a few so far if anyone is interested..but any input or requests would be great!
Our company currently is focused on SciFi/Fantasy mainly but I want to get a feel of some things that are needed out here :)

If you don't want to hear it, don't read it.
The plants in your sci-fi plant pack, do not, for the most part look anything like plants. Only a few of them look like plants. The others look like gaudily colored sculptures and urban fixtures. What's more, they have ugly textures and no apparent art design behind them. They look like you just started messing around in your modeling program without any sense of planning.
In the future, when modeling, draw it several times first. Decide how you want it to look. Then model it. Then, before texturing, color your sketch and show it to some honest people and get some input.
All of your textures look like they were either made out of Photoshop filters or pulled straight out of FilterForge. That's not automatically a bad thing, but you need to do something unique to them and at least make them with some decent quality. As for the FilterForge ones, you need to consider that someone could just downlaod the demo for that and make those exact same textures in accordance with their needs. FilterForge is a fare more capable program than that too. You could be making much cooler textures with it with almost as little effort.
Also, in some of your textures, you used clouds to vary up your texture. 1) Variances ultimately result in patterns when tiled. 2) Clouds result in splotchiness which invariably looks ugly.
I hope I helped you.
Once again, I'm sorry if I offended you.

I'm gonna be honest here, and if you are attached to your art, then it will hurt your feelings. I believe that almost all truly good and useful criticism on creative works hurts feelings. So if what I say offends you, I'd like to say I'm sorry in advance because it needs to be said.If you don't want to hear it, don't read it.

thanks for the feedback!
we are working to improve our content packs as we speak... and honestly I dont expect to be that great on these first few ones. The point is to get better so our company can create packs that are of high quality..
just for some laughs..I did create a bunch of those textures and I am the programmer on the team :)
and I used texture maker which worked ok...just thought they may be useful for someone to save some time and money. So I guess I will let the artists do the next batches..
And I guess I shouldnt have called them a plant pack, more of Forage or something.

Better luck with your later stuff though.

If they're just for fun and practice, don't sell them. There's no point in trying to sell the lame things you did in order to practice. If you want, to get them out there, and let people know about your company, release them for free or into some kind of open license like the Creative Commons. Better luck with your later stuff though.

Well, since we're doing constructive criticism, then I'd like to suggest that you remove the click-through intro screen on your website - they're extremely annoying. It's even worse because it's flash, so those who don't have it installed can't even get to your site.

These are not just junk or practice ... they are of decent quality enough to use. Though maybe not perfect just yet. which is why I am asking for feedback here..
I do appreciate it...and most likely we will release some free content soon
>also fixed the link

The plants, are really high poly for such small things. Most of what you have there could be achived with maybe one or two polys, with an alpha transparent texture applied.
