When I run the map2dif_plus utility I get something about validating my model in my modeling program...about a hundred times if not more. The model compiles, but it's incomplete. I am using Maya 5 (no school like the old school).
The model is a house made in autocad, UV mapped in Milkshape, Textured in Deep Paint and finally cleaned up in Maya, then I export it.
Any clues? Why map2dif = no love for me?

Yeah, I am using the maya exporter. I absolutely hate using quark. It's like attacking a rock with my face. I have had the most success with Maya so far anyways. I just don't know what map2dif means by validate the model in the modeler. I can actually use the DIF in game, I went in, made the house and it worked...kind of. Parts were pokey, some faces didn't show up, no texture...but it was in game, which is a small victory for me i think.

Could you post a screenshot of your building both in Maya and in game? I'm guessing this is using some irregular geometry.

This might sound dumb, but umm, why can't I export an .obj file from Maya?
