Development help in a game club

Garage Games is great man. My first experience with Torque engine was here. :) Coolness.

Another site that offers similar forums and a place for a community to share is the Sylien Game Club (www.syliengameclub.com). Though their approach is a bit different, as they ask the community to Propose to them some game ideas and perhaps hash out development deals with the company (a small development company). Neat stuff really.

GarageGames helps developpers distribute games and gives lots of resources and software etc... but little "direct" help with development itself as they are busy devving the tools we need. I think a combination of both Game Club (as I think of GarageGames as such myself) is great 'cause you can easily prototype games with Torque etc... but you can pitch your game idea to a game dev company to get the proper help to actually implement it.

Anyway, if you're interested, here is the link: www.syliengameclub.com
