I been working on a file for about 2 weeks now and I have got some good progress on it.. I ran it threw the map2dif in constructor and everything worked fine on Friday last week. So I started working on the file again today putting null textures on the parts of the brushings that needed it and I got that done I wanted to test it out and see how many faces I had gotten read of and now the file is all messed up it is telling me that
Error: Brush #(1 -1200) - This brush was exported improperly with badly formed plane points. Please validate the brushes in your modeling tool before export.
So I save my CSX file as a MAP file and open it up in Constructor and I see the brush names 1 - 1200 but there isn't any brushes to see in any of the views. There just not there.. so that explains why it can't convert over to a DIF. But that don't explain to me why CSX can't be saved as a MAP file.
I can open up very old files and save them out as map. I even try and delete the new creation that I have done.. the only think I can think my have caused it to go bad would be the lights that I added (Fridays file) and today's I deleted them but they both stopped converting over to DIF.
Short History..
Friday--- Finished on part of the building and putting all the portals in the right location save as csx and ran map2dif opened up in Torque. Then I added lights and ran threw map2dif and opened it up in Torque saved file and then saved it as a back up in a second folder.
Monday --- Didn't test anything for didn't need to it worked on Friday why wouldn't it work today. Just put null textures on brushes that need it. Lots of crashing when trying to select faces finish and save file run map2dif and get Error like up above.. so I open up back up file from last week Friday's file that worked and it now has the same Error when trying to run map2dif on it. Then I opened up a back up file and found one that can run map2dif on it and then I try and copy past into that file what I had did on Friday and today to try and get to work and it just crashes the map2dif..

All right I found out what was going on I was messing with the geometry and light scales and my geometry was at 5412 put it back to 512 and save out a good map file I would recommend you put an error or something just to help us dummy's out.
