Need help with copy rights (Noobie question)

I was wondering, if I was to buy TGE and make a game with it, then would I own the copy rights to the game, and be able to sell it on my own site or a different site? or would I HAVE to sell it on Garagegames.com?

You own what you make. You are simply licensing a tool to make it. You do not, however own the rights to the engine or derivative versions (I cannot claim Torque as my own and say "license the DavEnine now for $1000 dollars!" Unless I had a rather significant legal agreement with GG, that is.

But if you buy the indie license, you can make you game and own it royalty-free. You can make a million game if you want. You are not limited by where you can publish, royalties, or the number of titles.
