Lib/libtheora.so.0: no version information...

Greets!
I have now the 1.4 demo running on my new mandriva install, however i get this message in the console: "./torqueDemo.bin: ./lib/libtheora.so.0: no version information available (required by ./torqueDemo.bin) " and subsequently no sound in the app, and a message telling me i need the updated openAL drivers.
any ideas what this means?
