Starter.FPS for MS4.1?

Anyone gotten the starter.fps up and running on ms4.1? I'm finally getting started on my project and it would save me some time!

I moved mine over into 4.1 and it still works. There is a weird glitch with detail textures on legacy terrain, but I'm uploading it now.

Will post link when finished.

I'm getting a Fatal Error trying to use this starter.fps any ideas? demo and the water app work fine.

out of my console...

Fatal: (c:\tse_ms4_1\engine\gui\core\guitypes.cpp @ 373) GuiControlProfile: unable to find specified profile (GuiDialogProfile) and GuiDefaultProfile does not exist!
Error, a DecalManager (1907bf0) isn't properly out of the bins!

Looking for that same type of error, the only thing i see is that maybe a file is read only. Check to make sure that all files are writeable.

I dropped the directory into a standard build with no problems.

You might try what is mentioned in there... don't know why it would work here and not for you though.

Looking through more search results looks like it could be related to running a debug build, if you are running a debug build, search the forums for "properly out of bins" something about setting your running directory for debug builds.

Thanks for your help i checked all the ui files there writeable that i can see and built a release exe and it crashes as well.
Ill wipe every thing and try one more time from scratch

Well with a fresh start i got it sort of working but the problems i had legacy terrain in the past are still there
and the lighting and detail textures in the old terrain are messed up as well flashing on off detail texture coming on and off this is messed up.

Detail textures are doing the same thing here.... Only thing I know to do is remove the detail tex until more people get moved to 4.1 and can find some fixes.

Detail textures (on terrain) aren't even in TSE by default.
