Is torque going to be fully compatible for 64 bit processors and the new vista 64 bit os?

I can run TGE and TGB as well as TorqueX on Windows XP x64 edition just fine (in emulation mode), but there are definitely problems on vista currently with some of those as reported by various users.

I would hold off on vista for a while until there is better support for it and they get some of the bugs ironed out, especially with drivers.

Thank you for replying to me and for your suggestion.
i'm currently building a new pc and im going all out for my new developer pc.

so I was wondering if I should wait on vista ultimate edition.
guess ill stick with 64bit OS for now.

thanks again.

I've looked a bit at the needs to get it compiling and running under openSuSE Linux some months ago, and there seem to be major changes needed to get it 64-bit compilable, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a 64-bit version. I't got no priority by GarageGames, which is an understandable decision.
I'd rather have Constructor (and maybe ask santa claus for a Linux version sometime) and 32-bit Torque, than have this shiny 64-bit hyperthreading full-shiny-bells-and-whistles Torque64 but with no constructor to create content for it :-)
Wouldn't you?
