Problem with TGB

Alright, so i'm new with the Torque stuff... but im definitely not a rookie when it comes to computers... I started the *demo* version of TGB up and ran a couple of projects, such as the shooter and the checkers demo, however, upon exiting the checkers demo, the entire program is permanently minimized, and nothing i can do will change that, i have closed the program and restarted my computer, then reopened to the same thing, any ideas?
