Where do I get my background back?

I have lost my gray background, the grid and the blue camera box in TGB (its solid black). Where do I go to get them back?

Did you change anything, or did you just open it one day and it was completely black?

After running some of the tutorials, it was a blank black space. I would just run the subsequent tutorials from it. I finally just dumped and reinstalled TGB.

I wouldlike to know how to reset these defaults if ithappens again.

If you go to the torque folder -> common -> preferences, there are two preference files. Try making a backup of those. Not sure if that will reset to default, but they do contain video options so it may work.
