Performance

This Thread is only about performance of TGE, because I'm too sad with this...
I've only 3 vehicles in the screen (without AI, Effects and any other things), with 7.000 triangles each, the FPS counter of TGE show to me something between 14 and 19.
The PC I'm testing it is:
AthlonXP 1700+
512 RAM
Ge-Force FX-5200 128 MB
I believe what the my machine ins't the problem, because, I'm use this same machine to run very great games with much more triangles in the screen, to you have an Idea, In my company we use other engine based in a basic language (Blitz3D) and we make game with 100 or more NPC Characters in the screen, In this game, I've more than 80.000 triangles rendered at the same time and, my performance maintain 30 FPS.
The RTSKit, run too slow, this make me sad too, why this happen?
