We already have a miniplatform demo at tdn is fairly easy to start any platform project from that template.

The mini platform demo is a great place to start... look for a simple platformer tutorial in the future versions of TGB. No promises on the Platformer Framework, there are a couple things that need to be addressed, be sure to watch your RSS feeds they may be getting active sometime soon :)
