TSE Repository down?

by Jonathan Wood · in Torque Game Engine Advanced · 10/27/2006 (12:29 pm) · 16 replies

Is it just me or has the TSE repository been down since 1.5 release?
I haven't been able to connect in since then.

There's a thread on the getting started forum about this.

Yep, still down for me.

Anyone know why? Hardware failed or is it a major checkin? :)

ISP problems according to the other thread I mentioned above.

I just noticed I can download MS4 from my account page without using the repository. Is that new?

New to me, I can do the same thing. I guess the repository is gone and they are now distributing it via the standard download mechanism.

For those who thought about getting the download, it is the same as the last cvs update I did about a month ago.(It actually has 3 less terrain files.)

Ya, the CVS repo is permanently down from when we had to do some recent server switches. Download is via .zip (installer in future).. same as TGE.

Is there any way we can get CVS back for diffing & patch applying purposes?

Eh what? The word "permanently" means it won't be back. The CVS server is gone, read the thread.

There is no fixing it. they took the CVS respository down on purpose and have no plans to bring it back.
