Footstep sound triggers problem

Greetings!
I've found so many threads dealing with this. But I'm afraid I haven't found the answer for my issue.
I have a forward animation for my player which starts at frame 45 and ends at 62.
At frame 49, the player's left foot touches ground. At frame 58, right foot touches ground. So here is
my setting.
Also, to make the triggers work properly, I added keyframes for the bounding box, at the beginning
and the end of the sequence.
I doubt my trigger values have any problem. But as it didn't work at all, I thought the bounding box has
some problem. I decided to change the bounding box setting. So, this time, I linked the bounding box
to Biped01, but no luck.
Would someone please let me know if I made any mistake with the triggers setting?
Thanks in advance.

I believe the sequence will need 'triggers' to be embedded at those parameters given above. I am not certain putting keyframes on the bounding box is enough to get them functioning; you need to 'trigger' the 'event', ;). Try looking into triggers in sequences.

What modelling program are you using? I believe the sequence will need 'triggers' to be embedded at those parameters given above. I am not certain putting keyframes on the bounding box is enough to get them functioning; you need to 'trigger' the 'event', ;). Try looking into triggers in sequences.

Thank you so much for your answer. I'm using 3dMAX 7.0.
According to Torque Game Engine documentation, by setting trigger values like I did above, 'event' have to be triggered. But that seemed not always the case. So, I found
this thread that made me do something with bounding box, which didn't help either.
Rex, it seems like you succeeded to hear the footstep sounds. Could you tell me what you did to make footstep triggers work properly? I believe there will be still chance to learn from your experience.
Thanks in advance.
