DIF Models that Overlap or Intersect in TSE

Can anyone say what the expected behavior would be for a mission containing many overlapping or intersection DIF models? I recall seeing something (posted long ago) about crashes and intersecting DIFs, but I am particularly interested in how intersecting DIFs might impact TSE performance.

In TGE or TSE any time you have your DIFs overlapping your going to get zones inside of zones, and it will adversely affect performance. If you have the option, you should combine them together and compile them into one DIF.

We took your advice, J.C., and indeed there was quite a performance boost after combining the DIFs. Thanks!
