Waterblocks

I know this is most likely a well discussed topic but to be totally honest I haven't found anything that walks me through the whole process of making one. I am trying to understand how to insert water in my mission, how to adjust the parameters and what they mean etc. If someone could please post any information that would be great! Thanks in advance guys.

In the resources section there is a topic on making the water ripple and such when things collide with it or when it rains, someone there said that it was incorporated into the game engine, but i can't figure out how make it ripple, can someone here help me with this

Documentation is sparse but the parameter-names are somewhat self-explanatory.
I suggest experimenting with the different parameters to get an idea of what they do. There's a list here at TDN:
