I am doing a weapon tutorial. If you have any information could help or you think could help someone please put it here. Give detail what it is for and how it works. I am breaking the crossbow cs down. I have not got around to sword things like that. If you have good cs file for a weapon and would like to donate it that would be great but please know this is for the community so if you give cs file it will be include in the tutorial. I have been searching the form and web to find all the information I can.

Here what I have so far

How setup a weapon to export with the following software?

LR3d (Lightray3d)
Gamespace 1.6
MilkShape 1.7.10
3ds Max

How to install the weapon into Torque?
How to have selectable keys for each weapon?
Have about half the cs file broken down for what it does and how to change it to get the effect you want.

Thanks!

This is great... although i got nothing to offer.. i totaly like what you got going! :)
Will you show how you setup these different nodes that should be on the weapon..? that would be great
Not the modeling process or texturing or whatever... but just where to put and what to name the nodes...

EDIT: sorry i think i missunderstud... so you are going to do just that (above)

Yes I will have a source file for each of the software I list above so you can see how it setup. In the source file will have the nodes and the property names for them. I will also be explaining how to setup each source file. Outstanding question. I am hoping to get alot more questions so if I forget something I will put in. What above is just a start? I am currently reseaching different weapons, For eample how fast the bullet travel, when it start to drop, reaction when hit different objects and metals, etc. I hope to include as much information as I can so end user will be able to develop any weapon they need. I will not be covering the modeling process for weapon or texture this first go around. There is alot outstanding gun package out there. You may be like me the gun package have an excellent price, it would take alot longer time to model then buying them. Plus 9mm is a 9mm.
