GuiTheoraCtrl Problems

Hi, I have made a certain video with movie maker in the wmv format i used theoractrl to play it but as soon as i click the "Load" button to load the video it exits the fps starter.

Anyone else encountered this? Help as soon as possible

The Theora player control works for Ogg Theora encoded videos. Using other file formats won't work. Your best bet is to make AVI video clips and then use ffmpeg2theora.exe to convert the AVI videos into OGG files. ffmpeg2theora compresses and converts MPEG and AVI movies very well. It's a command line tool, so you might want to use the built in help instructions to optimize your output. If you're not comfortable with CLI tools, I could probably help you, or someone else on the boards might be willing. By the way ffpeg2theora is an open source free application. You also might want to consider using VirtualDub for your movie making. It's free and works great.

I use fraps for my movie making... but i might consider virtual dub

This is strange... i tried converting it to ogg it worked but then same thing happends... it exits the program :S
