Garage Games IRC?

Hey folks, I have a question and wasn't able to find any relevant threads using search (which by the way re-directs to a google search? Ouch).
Are there any official or un-official Garage Games and/or Torque IRC channels/servers out there?
I tried using the IRC Chat link on the Community page, but the java client does *not* like Firefox at all. Every time it tries to load up it crashes Firefox.
So, I need to get some IRC server addresses to punch into mIRC.

Maybe something changed, but I've only ever used FF (Mac and PC) to access it.

Or if you would like a dedicated IRC client, try mIRC: One of the most popular IRC chat clients around. Here is the information you need to establish a connection with mIRC:
IRC Server: irc.maxgaming.net
IRC Port: 6667
Channel: #GarageGames
