Suse 10.1 / TGB Issues 1.1.2

by Dennis De Marco · in Torque Game Builder · 10/15/2006 (5:54 pm) · 9 replies

I Downloaded the Windows exe and extracted the files. Then compiled a debug version.

Issues so far reported:

File->Open Project shows a blank list of projects (No listing of projects like under windows)

I'll add and also resolve what I find in this thread.

Thanks,
Dennis

File->Import gives me a very odd looking directory tree. Three home directories are listed that expand to common, tools, and TGB. Then another directory labeled TGB

Home -common
Home - tools
Home - TGB
TGB -levels

I'm also on openSuSE 10.1. Could these issues be confirmed by someone on another distribution?

Thanks

Confimed on Gentoo - 2006.1

With TGB 1.1.1 built from source, I get the same weird behavior described on both x86 FC5 and on x86 SuSE 9.1.

Any ideas?

Confimed on Ubuntu 6.06.

Confirmed on Arch 0.7.2 using v1.1.1.

I've also noticed that none of my key-binds work.
Such as, F10 does not toggle the GUI builder, and Ctrl+O does not bring up the Open Level window.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, it appears that I have no keyboard input at all. I can't even put in the name of a new project.

I seem to have no issue whatsoever now with the latest ATI display driver on my openSuSE 10.1 x86_64 edition. Check with freespire 1.0.13 tomorrow.
