Who to contact regarding refund

by James · in Torque Game Engine Advanced · 10/13/2006 (1:51 pm) · 8 replies

Garage Game Employees or Reps need only respond :)

I purchased TSE-EA a week back and after some struggle, find it is beyond my abilities to compile.
Is there someone I can talk to at GG who can help me regarding a refund or... what have you?

Help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

I had problems compiling at first, cause Im mostly an artist.

But with a couple of trys, it can be learned in an evening.
just follow this link

Well, even after a refund keep us abreast of your project. I loved the concept art!

I'm not a GG employee so I can't speak to the refund issue. If however, you're willing to give it another shot,

1. I can send you a precompiled version if all you need is a compiled verison. (GG said in a previous discussion somewhere that we can share compiled versions among license holders.)

2. I can also help with figuring out what's wrong if you can post the error messages the compiler is giving you.

Thanks everyone for your kind responses and offers of support but I've decided to still seek a refund and focus on TGE for now.

I'm not a coder, I am really only interested in the Art Pipeline and if it's going to take this much time and effort to simply compile TSE out of the box, it's too much for me. I almost had a heartattack when I realized I'd have to build the FPS.starter from scratch.

Again, THANK YOU for your kind offers of support, it is people like you that make these forums great :)

Cheers all and good luck on your projects :)

Well, best of luck with TGE.
If you ever do decide to come back to TSE, I could also send you a working version of starter.FPS.

James, please send an email to webmaster@garagegames.com

We don't traditionally offer refunds on the Code SDKs, but that's the best place to plead the case. (No I don't handle this personally).

Good luck!
