DTS Animations?

by Cory Anderson · in Artist Corner · 09/28/2006 (7:43 pm) · 5 replies

Um... I am a newbie to the RTS pack, and I noticed that in the shape folders there are no .dsq animation files. Where are the animations coming from? How would I organize that in blender in order to use the exporter? Are there tutorials on this?

Thanks to anyone willing to tackle this question!

I have never used nor do I have the RTS pack, but it may be that the sequences are inside the DTS files.

Yes, the sequence can be within the dts file.

This link is not RTS specific, but I used the same process for both the RTS kit and the FPS kit.

I keep saying that I am going to write a detailed tutorial onhow to do it, but just have not had the time yet.

Wow thanks for the help Todd. I understand how to call upon the animations now, and a little how they work, but just exactly how would I set this up in Blender?

I seem to only be able to create 1 sequence, and I can't figure out how to name it.

Cory,

Glad to help. Unfortunately, I don't know Blender, so I can't help with that one.

You need to create more than one "Action".

Here are some good resources:
