Hi - no, I just installed it again tonight and it installs the whole thing (no TGE needed). Try it again, and if it still doesn't work post more detail like your operating system, what shows up on screen, etc....if you're on windows, what's in the /Program Files/Torque Game Builder Pro directory?

Check Add/Remove Programs and uninstall TGB if it is there. Then do the following.
If you have WinXP, log on with admin rights and delete your temp files, including the ones in you account. You will have to get it to show hidden and system files and folders.
Sometimes, the installers get messed up when there is stuff in there. Restart your computer after you deleted what you can. Then try installing.

There isn't an update for the demo.
Just to make sure, you didn't try to install it in June or July? There is a 30 day limit on the demo.

Perhaps delete the file you have now and download the demo again.

You do not need TGE for TGB. They are separate.

Try giving it another name and saving it in a different directory.

When you click on the TGB demo download, you can save the file.
By default it is GetTorqueGameBuilder.exe you can rename it and save it to a different folder than where you saved it before.

Luke,

I just tried getting the demo.

YES, during the install you DO have to check for updates. Clicking next, you should see it connect and start to download.

Its been changed since I last got TGB.
