I was reading my gmail and guess what ad popped up at the top:
This should read:
I'd recommend Torsion to ANYONE. It is incredible.

More power to them.

@Tom - At first I was one of the 'this is crap' people thinking that they shouldn't be reading my emails. I guess I would rather have targeted advertising than blanket advertising where I see crap I don't care about all the time. It's not like the email hosts don't already have copies of your email on their system, so who cares if a computer goes through it looking for key words? It's not like a PERSON is reading the email. That would be a different story.More power to them.

I remember that before it was "Torsion" it was a LUA script debugger (correct me if I'm wrong). Do you have plans to branch off Torsion and release the LUA version (after it's completed as I seem to remember reading that it wasn't completed when switching it to TorqueScript)?

Probably should go post this on the sickhead forums, but I'm here and lazy so....I remember that before it was "Torsion" it was a LUA script debugger (correct me if I'm wrong). I did remember seeing a Lua language integration with Visual Studio a few months back. I can't find the link anymore, but it looked good.

We have considered porting it back to LUA once we got Torsion shipped. The only thing that makes me hesitate about doing that is that it is not within our long term goals to be working in Lua anymore. So we would be supporting a product we don't use internally.I did remember seeing a Lua language integration with Visual Studio a few months back. I can't find the link anymore, but it looked good.

Interesting about the LUA in vs, was it for .net?
Edit: found this, but it's no torsion =P www.trystan.org/lua.html

@Tom - aww. A LUA debugger could probably sell pretty well considering WoW uses it as it's GUI scripting language. That and I'd talk really highly of it ;).Interesting about the LUA in vs, was it for .net?

Naw i don't think that was it... but it was something like that. Anyway, we'll keep it under consideration, but i can't promise anything. ;)

Thanks for the plug Jonathon.
Ben mentioned to me that our AdWords experiment is showing up in people's Gmail accounts. Personally it seems sort of big brotherish to me, but from a business perspective it's really cool.
