Hi,
We are back with our third project this year. It is a scrolling action game and we try to develope it not only for hardcore players, but for casual players too. We try to combine 2D graphic with 3D models and after two weeks we have something like this:

I'm also interested in the (right) side panel art. Looks fantastic. I wish I could make art like that!

The game is delayed. We stoped working on it after one month, because we had to work on our games Jets'n'Guns GOLD and Phantasia 2, but I have worked on it again from this month and you can see some screenshot at www.300ad.com/archmage.php

This game is sweet! The GUI is very polished and appealing and the gameplay is addictive. However, as a hardcore gamer, I wouldn't spend money on a vertical scroller. That is just my preference as a gamer and I bet there are tons of people out there who are searching for a good-looking casual game!

Kevin: Yes, I understand. This game is an "action shooter for casual players". I'm not sure if it is a good idea, but I will find out it soon ;)

Looks very nice actually :)
Especially that at least once, someone is not using the same oldstyle SciFi - copter - jet theme we got used to over years now.

As there are many casual gamer vertical scrollers around, I think there is a market for people not good enough for Ikaruga ^^Looks very nice actually :)

Now, that game was fresh! First scroller shooter I enjoyed in YEARS. Very good. :)

A really cool scroller... no more spaceships! I can't believe all those effects were created with the particle emitter... WOW.
