Selection dosent work to well

Hi...

I was doing some bug research to see if i could replicate a DARN annoying shadowmap dissiperance bug..

But while testing/making this level.. i had a VERY hard time selecting stuff... when i selected in the stack it most of the time didn't select anything... or it would select 2 different objects!!... whats up with that

and also when selecting in the scene... i often couldnt select objects... i had to go like just inches away from it to select it

And i dont recall this in Beta 10

And also.. i dont know if it had anything to do with it.. but when i first made the box/house i used vertex mode to drag the top down a little... and you know.. the pivot still stays i place (i hope there will be a way to possition the pivot as you like... like in 3D Max) so i dont know if this has anything to do with it

Will there be a method to UNselect objects.. like in 3D max... where you hold "Ctrl" to add to the selection and "Alt" to remove from selection :)

If you hold down shift and click on a brush it will add to the selection if that brush isn't already selected and will remove from the selection if it is already selected. This works for everything that is selectable, of course.

Edit: Except for verts, I forget how you remove from the selection there. Might want to check the release notes, this stuff should be mentioned in there.

Yeah... but if i select a bunch of objects with the "marker" (dont know whats it called)
is there a option to UNselect a bunch of things again by using a hotkey and then mark all the objects i want to unselect? (like in 3D max)

Hope you get the point...

And i know about the shift key... :)
