TGB Upgrade to Torque X

by Rich Wilson · in Torque Game Engine · 09/11/2006 (5:03 pm) · 2 replies

The Torque X announcement page says that the transition from TGB to TX will be easy, and to go ahead and grab TGB for this purpose. Is there a minimal upgrade fee to accomodate this transition, or would I have to buy the whole engine all over again?

Torque X is a separate product so I am going to assume that you will be paying the normal price for it. Which generally is pretty cheap if you think about it.

I should clarify and say that, generally, if you own one product, you get a discount on other products

Torque Game Builder and Torque X are completely different products, but will work together.

Torque Game Builder's level building and scene editing tools will be able to be imported into Torque X, and therefore can be ported directly to GSE's XNA framework.
