QuArK has found 1549 invalid polyhedron face(s) in this file

Using QuArK, I opened a landtower_0.map in example\starter.fps\data\interiors\towers, I was told "QuArK has found 1549 invalid polyhedron face(s) in this file. Look for 'Broken face' icons in the list. QuArK has found 262 invalid polyhedron(s) in this file. Look for 'broken polyhedron' icons in the list.
Does anyone know what's going on?
Thanks a lot!

This will happen if you copy and paste brush faces rather than brushes,
or if you've moved faces from one brush to another,
or if you've move a brush with a shared face out of the folder that contains the shared face.

I think this happens when you've got unattached faces in a brush. This will happen if you copy and paste brush faces rather than brushes,
or if you've moved faces from one brush to another,
or if you've move a brush with a shared face out of the folder that contains the shared face.

example\starter.fps\data\interiors\towers\landtower_0.map is the file coming with the starter.fps demo, I didn't do any change, I am new to QuArK, just downloaded the QuArK, and was trying to open an interior map file in starter.fps with the QuArK(from quark-win32-6.5.0slphs8.zip in the QuArK official website). But it told me the above error. why?

I'm only guessing, but it might be that because you are opening the .map (an exported file) rather than the .qrk file. Post a screenshot of what the folder structure looks like when you open the .map file (twist the folders open so the contents are shown - just one screen shot should do) - it should give clues as to what's going on.

How to post a screenshot:(? the path is D:\Program Files\Torque\SDK\example\starter.fps\data\interiors\towers\landtower_0.map . I openned same .map file in same path in another computer, it works! so strange, seems my this torque in this computer doesn't recognize polyhedron face. is it because of different video card? but my this computer can run the torque demos perfectly!thanks for any idea!

If you aren't already, you might open it in Quake III or Torque mode. Sometimes opening it in the wrong mode (ie, Quake I) can cause this problem.

You need to upload the image to your own web space and then link it to your forum post. To find out how to do this click on the link at the bottom of this page just above the "Submit Post" button.

I newed a cube, it shows 0 faces, less than 4 sides. I think all have got are zero faces, that's why I saw nothing in the windows.
