Still April?

Just out of curiousity, are we still looking at April for V12 shipments? I've been anxiously waiting since fools day. (And once you ship, my postman is going to have me sitting on his doorstep. :)
Don't get me wrong, take all the time you need packaging it all up nice and neat. I'd rather have quality over speed anyday...

I believe a demo game is being coded with the V12 as a demo, or something. So they still have to do that. Rick updated his plan, he's getting the code to work with VC++. Check the plans, I'm sure they're current.

I wouldn't expect them to put too much time into the demo 'game'. I'm guessing they'll probably have a character or two running around a terrain with maybe a building or two and perhaps a weapon of some sort with some basic collision detection. Anyway thats about the minimum I would expect to get an idea of how things fit together. Probably not more than a few hours work for someone familiar with the engine, of course I could be way off :)

Now I just wondering that how should we developers out of USA get V12?

I agree that we should wait, so that guys can make of V12 nice & as stable as it can be.Now I just wondering that how should we developers out of USA get V12?

first release isn't terribly stable (it won't be), I'd like to get started coding
as quickly as I can, and deal with the repercussions of near daily
patches to the engine later :)
Of course, there are good (legal) reasons why it can't be released
today, and it does at least have to compile and run out of the box, so
I'm patiently waiting for at least that much =-)
Cheers, John
