Particle question

Can you export particles from max into a dts file and have them animated?

If you're referring to Max's native particle system, no.

What you can do is animate a mesh in max, apply an animated texture in the form of an .ifl and export that. Works well for explosions and the like, or whatever you can think up.

Max and Torque have different particle systems.
