Wanna Get Hired?

Ok, this is a general issue for me when i browse the developers page. just so everyone who's looking for a job knows this, your word means nothing to someone looking for a skill to hire. if you're an artist get up a sight and for other this please get a resume. otherwise no one will even bother looking at you.
Also for the GG staff. can you guys put icons in the Developer's pages to let people know if the person has a homepage link. otherwise it's almost a waste of a click.

of course i'd do it that way, but there is a severe lack of gui artists out there along with artists available.

Actually, we have had luck picking through lists of developers, whether on GarageGames or on other sites. The problem with just posting a help wanted ad on most sites is that everyone and his brother does the same thing. You will get some people to look at the ad and then follow up, but it's very easy to get lost in the noise. And unless you can pay money to your team members, you are going to have a hard time getting a news blurb on any of the major sites. So, don't eliminate cold-calling outright- it can work if you put some time in.

You're better off looking for who comes to you, instead of having to pick through the entire list of people. that way, you can ensure they want to be a part of your project and the not-so-talented usually don't tend to go looking for stuff to help with.
