That has to be one of the worst websites of all time.

Crap.... have to wait. It does have the smell of a "worst website" although I'm not too familiar with their site. I'll start checking it out more since they are giving us .... FREE SOFTWARE .. as in... free software that I would actually like to use!!! ...can't complain much about that...

Filled out a ton of personal info and now for nearly 48 hours still can't download the files? I'm not getting a good feeling about this...

I got connected to one of the files for about 30 seconds. Got 18K downloaded out of 200+MB... never got in again. That was after about 20 attempts to even get that.

I got "something" to download but it doesn't seem complete. the app that I downloaded is ~180Mb but when I try to run it nothing happens. I noticed on the download page that there is a line that says "DOWNLOAD (1 of 10)"... I recall that it used to say "0 of 10". Not sure what that means... maybe there are 10 files to download before you get the full Poser5 app??!?!?! .... don't know. BTW- I just got connected again and downloading... hopefully this will give a little more info on how this crap works.

Each time you attempt to download one of the files the first part of the "0 of 10" will increase. The latter part indicates the maximum number of times you can try. I would imagine this is to discourage people from sharing their account details with others.
As there is no easy way for the server to know if your download has completed (only that it was started), it is possible to use up your allotment of download attempts without getting a complete file so I would advise waiting until a less busy time. Even small files seem to be painfully slow at the moment (I ordered a couple of free tutorials at the same time).
According to the site, you can still download files from your account after the special offer has ended if you ordered them before then (and you haven't used up all your attempts).

There are two files to download, each of which is around 300 Mb. For PCs one is called "Setup.exe" and the other is "Poser 5 SR4 Content CD Hero.zip"Each time you attempt to download one of the files the first part of the "0 of 10" will increase. The latter part indicates the maximum number of times you can try. I would imagine this is to discourage people from sharing their account details with others.

I can't get these files to save my life, but I'm glad at least one person here was able.

I can't get them. The links I got in email don't work any more and I can't seem to get to my download page on the site. Hope they enjoy all the personal info they collected from me. I'm sure I'll be seeing more spam in my future :(

Rodney, I had the same problem but then I found the "View My Stuff" tab in the left-hand column of their website. I'm now about 90% finished downloading the first of the two packages (man, I miss cable).
