I know what you are thinking - "Didn't you just release a mech?". Well, yes I did. But that mech was made a while ago and I decided to edit part of it and texture it, so it is kind of old. This model will actually be used in a game.

Expect more art from my cartoony jetpack game soon. Also, crits and feedback welcome!

Thanks for looking,
Okashira

Also, in case anyone cares, here is how it looks in my Torque Showtool Pro trial -

Oh, and I want to clear something up before it is asked - yes the fingers are supposed to be dis-jointed. I was trying to get a Rayman-style design, without copying Rayman.

Thanks,

Its the headless horseman's head!

Reminds me of Vegie Tales. : ) Eventually I want to do a childrens game and these kind of characters would be great.
Are his eyes supposed to be scary?

Looks good, but the eyes don't need to be full spheres, unless they're going to look around. And the eyes also look fairly high poly in comparison to the body. But I like your style!

@Frank
lol. I remember watching vegge tales with my little brother. Good times, good times...Anyways, do you think the eyes are scary? I want to hear more on this because I thought they were quite the opposite.

@Justin
Ya know, for some reason I didn't even think of making the eyes only half-spheres. I might just do that.

Thanks for the feedback,
Okashira

Nice, very cartoony, the hands need work though, but hey, once I have finished writing my car tutorial I'll work on a hand tutorial, as they are quite tricky.

Good work matey, and interesting yet simple concept. Would may a nice kids game, reminds me of the games a guy from another forum is working on, one being similar to Rayman, the other being similar to prince of persia, but with those sort of graphics.
