How to remove it?

Hello guys
I'm trying to import some tiles but I have a problem which is the objects still sorunding with the a white boarder when I import it inside TGB, please chect the following picture and you will understand what I mean:

as you see there is a white board sorrunding the game object and I don't know how to remove it so any help here please.

JPG's do not have transparencies, save the image as a PNG and add transparencies the way Shane explained -- works the same way in Photoshop (more or less) ... then save as a PNG, and the image will be transparent when imported.

Ya mark the good thing here is there is a helpfull guys around.

then use the magic wand selection tool to select the white, and delete it.
It will make the white sections become a transparency.
If your not using PSP, then you'll have to figure out how to add a transparency layer and delete the white part out.
