Beta9 Snap To Grid still incorrect

I am very happy to see Vertex Snap To Grid was worked on...

It now seems to work if I place the Grid Spacing to 0.25...
I can uncheck snap to grid, move it a little, recheck it and it first
snaps to the grid and then moves by 0.25... GREAT

But at both 0.5(default) and at 1, It seems to move to an unknown position
first, then move by the grid space amount... never staying on the grid.

For now, I'll leave at 0.25 and be very happy.... THANK YOU! needed this fix.

But making it work at all Grid Spacing would be preferable.

Cheers!

Greetings!

Under Beta 9 I made a default cube and was able to snap its vertices to the grid line intersection points for a spacing of 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0. This included first turning off the Snap to Grid option to move the vertex to a non-grid position and then enabling it once again.

Perhaps these notes will help:

1. A vertex that is not on the grid will move to the closest grid intersection point when moving with the mouse. If the grid is larger than what is viewable then it may appear that the vertex moves off the screen as it travels to the closest grid intersection point.

2. The current Action Center works in conjunction with vertex snapping when multiple vertices are selected. With the Selection Action Center the snapping will occur at the selection center ie: the Axis Gizmo. With the Origin Action Center all vertices will snap individually to their closest grid intersection point and then move with the mouse.

It looks like I forgot to mention this in the Beta 9 release notes so I'll be sure to go back and add this in. Sorry.
