Can anyone tell me how do i maintain a database for all the players ?

PK, this question is too broad and vague but do a search for Dreame's MMORPG kit and there is a section for user databases.

Hmmm...am really sorry...basically what i need is....i need to build blogs for each player, where he/she can write and others can comment. someone suggested database maintainence and hence my first question. i did go thro' the Dreame's MMORPG, but being a newbie i couldnt follow much. Can you suggest something.

I'd suggest you go and learn about databases for a couple of days, and then come back to Dreamer's resource.
Although databases aren't difficult, there are some concepts that you need to understand before you would be able to implement them.
