Is this pack a must?

Sammy,

The TLK greatly improves the look of TGE-powered games by providing more realistic lighting and additional light/shadow options. Having said that, it the TLK isn't an absolute necessity. With some creativity and experimentation, non TLK-enabled apps can still look very good.

If you are going for TSE it is included with it, but get it soon as the price is going up!

If you are working with TGE, then yes - the TLK is a must IMO. It's amazing how much it improves the quality of the look of the engine.
