Future of Games

OK. So, my personal goal is that some day I can afford to have a room with projection on the walls and floor and ceiling of a 3d game world. so I can do cool stuff like fly and dive and put one of those rock climbing machines in the room and feel like i'm climbing the grand canyon or something. Definitely want to recreate that scene in Superman where he flys right up the Empire State Building. Every since I was a kid and saw that I've wanted to fly like that.
I mean... how cool would a setup like that be. :)
If you've ever played a game with a video projector and played the character life size, you know what I'm talking about here. It's insane. Playing a Jet Fighting game from the cockpit projected on the wall big enough to actually have the sides in your peripheral vision. There's just nothing like it. It's too cool.
So. Anyone else dream up big boy toys like this? Like VR and stuff?
I want to know what other cool ideas people have.

I design and direct games for Somatic Vision. We primarily make games for use with biofeedback, but our latest game, Tropical Heat, a jet ski racing game, is for regular gamers and is available on PC/Mac and will be available on ipad and iphone soon.

I reakon ARQuake wearables.unisa.edu.au/projects/ARQuake/www/index.html is an idea with huge possiblities

(not the three-monitor set ups, like one continous surface, Flexible television screens have been in development, it could probably be done with the OLED systems they used)
