3dsMax->Atlas Tool?

Somewhere I recall someone posting a shot of an ingame Atlas terrain created in 3dsmax. I distinctly remember it being Ben teasing us too :) My question: Will we ever get this tool or something like it while we wait for a proper Atlas terrain generation tool? (one that supports caves, etc etc)

I think it was a Tim Aste lanscape object. I can't remember whose blog it appeared in though.

The general support was added in MS 3.5, as there is 3ds Import/Export, but as I understand it isn't complete or properly working (although I haven't tested it myself)

Yeah, it was Ben's. I know, because I was the one who edited the terrain for him. Im unsure of how you actually do it, though, or if it's even in the current tech.
