That's a pretty vague post spidey, try including some more detail next time =)

I assume you're talking about the difference in prices for Torque Game Builder.

Well Torque Game Builder does not include the source code. It only has the binaries and is priced accordingly:

Torque Game Builder

* For Indies $100
* Commercial $495

Torque Game Builder Pro gives you the full source code:

Game Builder Pro

* For Indies $250
* Commercial $1250

The difference between an indie and commercial license :

Indies...

* must display the engine logo upon startup of the game.
* cannot transfer license ownership.
* must be working on a game.
* may publish your game ANYWHERE.
* pay no royalties, EVER.

Commercial customers...

* do not need to display an engine logo at all.
* may transfer license ownership.
* may purchase company licenses (licenses are tied to programmer seats rather than users).
* may work on non-game projects.
* access to official developer training via the Torque Boot Camps.
* may publish your product ANYWHERE.
* pay no royalties, EVER. (Yes, we realize this is not a difference between the two licenses, but this point has been misunderstood for so long we feel the need to reiterate it.)

I can only assume you're talking about Torque Game Builder since that's the only one with a $1250 price and you didn't specify.

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to ask, but if it's the difference between TGB and TGBPro commercial licenses is that with Pro you are given the source code to the engine.

Well guys ...

Well what is the full source would be or do ?

does it means for example that i can write scripts to add in game ?
or would be able to develope the engine it self ?

Thanks alot both of you

With the source you can alter the .exe itself, not just using script. With TGB you can make a perfectly professional game without source code though.

@spider,

with the source code to the engine you can make changes to the engine itself, change the way it renders, add effects, add command to the scripting language etc. To take advantage of the source code you should be a proficient C++ programmer.

It is worth noting - if you only do modeling, that implies that you work in 3D. While TGB is capable of showing 3D models, it is not intended to make 3D games, but is rather aimed at making 2D games (but can use 3D objects as "sprites").

If you are actually looking to make full-on 3D games, what you are interested in is TGE or TSE, not TGB.
