For starters, when i load that page link you have supplied, i get a picture of a car...

Secondly, what do you mean, by fishy. There is nothing fishy whatsoever.

Regarding the head, i had problems with the mocap originally due to its head bone structure, so had to take most of the neck bones out, to get the job done.

And as to the question about the stance of the horse, this is the default pose that it was modelled in. I guess i should have shown a picture of the horse in action

Hmm

well the link doesn't show a car for me. it shows a horse model.
Here's a pic.

I too have my doubt about this model. As a member of your site I am not very happy with this pack.

You say this is motion captured? Do you own a horse and you rigged it with sensors??

The horse you own must be from another planet because viewing the idle animation, it does nothing except levitate off the ground.. quite an amazing feat.

There is also a huge problem with texture stretching on the face, and there is large texture seams on the back side of the horse.

Your last content was released many months ago. Your excuse for lack of content is you have been learning new techniques. It appears you didnt even model this yourself, and the animations are quite poor.

The company obviously use the same texture source that i do. Simple as that

I dont need to own a horse, i get motion captures supplied to me.

As to the texturing, ill take a look a that Peter, and sort it out.

As to the last comment peter, which you edited on, i have been spending 14 hours a day developing a character pack as you know, with 5 characters in.

These are not motion captured, you are lying. Anyone viewing these animations can attest to that. Please explain how the "motion captured" idle animation is nothing more than a z transform applied to the entire mesh in a loop?

@Stevie
So wait...You were making 2 packs at the same time, which gives you an excuse for the animation of one to be 'not the best'?

Okashira, i didnt say that at all.. i simply said, that i have been working flat out on another pack too. Peter mentioned that i havent had content out for a good while, so i was just explaining about that.

Then I repeat my previous statement:

Please explain how the "motion captured" idle animation is nothing more than a z transform applied to the entire mesh in a loop?

And as another poster stated, the legs of a horse do not stay straight when moving. The quality of these animations is amateur at best, and in no way could be considered motion captured. Where did you get these animations? I would like to check for myself the raw motion captured data.

Guys, I don't think Stevie wants to fix all the animations right now. He said he would be selling better animations and textures for a couple dollars to owners of the pack, so just wait for that. And besides, it is a great quality for the low price of $19.

Thanks okashira. People dont realise how you put your heart and soul into making content sometimes. I genuinely love the horse, and wouldnt have released it otherwise and for the price too, its a great buy. I have had lots and lots of emails praising us for the horse at the low price

But... i am always willing to listen to people, so i can make top notch products for everyone. Ill keep listening

"The company obviously use the same texture source that i do. Simple as that"

Should we ask the folks at web3dservice?
Or would you prefer to state where you acquired your horse texture?

Jonathan,

Your really out of order for that.. really. For one, i dont need to disclose where i get my art sources from, and secondly i do not need to further defend this situation, because it is entirely legal.
Please watch what you say, as comments like that can seriously harm business

And, as to you contacting that company- go ahead.

Why is this thread turning out like this.....

I have no problem with you selling your pack for $19. What I do have a problem with is your blatant misrepresentation of your animations as motion captured. Simply remove that and state what they truly are.
