Program for organizing sprite sheets

I have a couple hundred frames of animation in different PNG files (anim1.png...anim2..png...anim50.png, etc). I remember coming across a program, not on here, but just online somewhere that I could take anim1, and it would load the rest of the files and create the sprite sheet automatically as opposed to taking each frame and copying and pasting them together in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

Anyone know a program like this?

Try glueIt. I'm not sure if it automatically loads the rest of the files, but you might be able to select all the files at once.

Yup, you can select all the files at once. One thing I find with it is that the first file you select often ends up at the end of the list, so you have to laboriously move it to the top. Other than that, it should do everything you need.

This problem is not unique to glueIt, as I've had this happen with several Windows programs. If I recall correctly, this is actually default Windows behavior. An easy solution is to select it from the end first, then will put them in the right order.

For example, if your animation is anim1.png ... anim50.png, go to the end and click on anim50.png first and then go back and shift click on anim1.png. Now all 1-50 will be selected and they will be in the right order too.

Matt

you can check out a software like Anim sprite maker.
Just google it or search it here in forums.
