To Employ or not to Employ, that is my question.....

Ok, so a commercial consultancy contract is finally taking off, and as part of that, I need a Spanish speaking tech support rep. Now, there isnt that much work involved for this position as most sites are in English speaking areas at the moment (So I would handle them), but it is needed (I can swear in a few languages, but thats about it for me) and French speaking areas are slated for 12 months from now'ish, so I'm ignoring that for now, though finding someone who could speak French and Spanish would allow me to pay more :-) I'm not counting on finding someone who can.

So I was thinking, wouldnt it be neat, if I could also get some Torque coding, or maybe art, from this person as well..... Only problem is, I only have a modest budget for a tech support rep rather than a coder or artist (whose wages are about 2 times higher than I can pay at the moment, if the salaries in GameDeveloper are true).

Still, it bears thinking about. So I was wondering if anyone, either potential recruit or employer, would care to chip in their opinions.

Cheers, Mark.

Edit: It cut off half my post!
