Blend animations

Hi,
i cant seem to get blend animations to work correctly. and the only one that works (somewhat, called look), is in the wrong direction and is painful to watch.
i am using blender 2.41, with dts exporter 0.91
does anyone know of a tutorial perhaps where all blend animations (especially recoil) are explained and shown how to make in blender?
also, the recaoil animation doesnt seem to activate when fireing the crossbow:S

although they didnt really help me out, they pointed me in the direction where i had to pay close attention to some minor issues
(some of the axis were twisted oddly, which caused all of these problems)
i must have forgotten to thank you for you help.
so thank you :) now everything works nicely:)
